Erasmus experiences in Finland

From my point of view I have learnt al lot with this experience. I know a lot of things of Finland that I did not know before this trip. Firstly, I learned about their culture, for example now I know how they celebrate the end of the school year, that they like sweet and salty liquorice… etc. I have visited a lot of interesting and amazing places like the Snow Castle or Rovaniemi. However the thing that I liked the most

was meeting people from other countries, you can get new friends and learn about their culture at the same time and I think this became this trip in the most usefull one that I have ever done in my whole life.

I would like to try something like this again but, of course, not just for a week, maybe some months will be good enough but a week is a very short period of time and it does not allow you to enjoy all of this kind of experience can offer.

This week has been such an incredible experience in a lot of ways.

First of all, i was given a great opportunity to discover Finland and learn finish people's lifestyle. Second, having that people talking about their inequal situation really opened my eyes and my mind yo other people's problems. And finally but mainly, i could get the chance to meet people who made me so happy and with who i feel a strong connection.

This week has been incredible because all our hosts and the other guests tried to do their best to have an amazing week. I will try to tell you why.

First of all, people had treated us in a very friendly manner. They tried to make me feel like at home. They were more sociable than I could even imagined before coming.

All the activities and places which we visited were astonishing.

The meals time were very different from here, but in their gastronomy they have some really interesting things like mämmi for example.

And last but not least, I would like to thanks all of them for having been there and make from this travel an unforgettable experience.

Its been a very good week, I felt very integrated at the house I was staying and they made me feel like I was part of the family, and I enjoyed a lot spending time with them. Also I met amazing people from very different countries, and I really enjoyed visiting the beautiful city which is Oulu and getting to know about the finish culture. In general, it has been an amazing experience in which i felt totally embraced, and i would recommend it to everyone.
